AbstractThis work describes the methodology and expected results for the vegetation mapping of Amazon biome, using TM Landsat images, thematic maps, SRTM data and airborne vertical videography images. The latter data will be used as reference for the assessment of the mapping accuracy. This work is part of the sub project "Amazon Forest Land Use/Cover" objectives.
